The apartment is very well served by public transport and it is definitely the way to move around in the coastal area due to parking problems during the season.
There is a bus stop immediately outside the front door of Square Pauline and this will take you to any of the Cote d'Azur resorts and the nearby inland towns.
The railway station is also very close and again will take you on a breathtaking journey along the coast to all the coastal resorts and into Italy as far as Ventimiglia - which has a wonderful market of leather goods and designer clothes.
The nearby towns such as Grasse, Valbonne, Vallauris etc. are accessible by bus, but if you want to travel into the beautiful mountains it would be advisable to hire a car.

By road:
The motorways extend to the Cote d'Azur from Calais but you will need to make an overnight stop en route, perhaps at Lyon. Virtually every kilometre will be on a toll road, "péage", and the total tolls, there and back, will be in the region of £100.
Leave the A8 at the exit for Antibes. Follow signs to Antibes (the road layout is very complicated) and then to Juan-les-Pins. Eventually after a left hand near hairpin turn, and before you get to the town, you will drive along Boulevard Raymond Poincare The Jardin Pauline park, with lots of palm trees, will be on the left hand side - opposite it turn in over the pavement just before the bus stop and you will be in front of the garage doors.
